Community Involvement at MarksNelson CPA

Annual Volunteer Day to support local Kansas City nonprofits

In June, each year our office closes for a day as our professionals set aside their spreadsheets, roll up their sleeves and participate in “Volunteer Day” to support local Kansas City nonprofits. This event helps us build stronger relationships with local organizations while encouraging teamwork.

Volunteer Day is part of MarksNelson’s on-going Marks of Kindness program, which formalizes the firm’s community outreach. What really sets our award-winning Marks of Kindness program apart is that it’s not just about fundraising but about finding innovative ways for our employees to get involved and personally do something that makes an impact.
